To deal with these challenges the Democrats present a history making nominee for president. History making in that he is the most liberal, most inexperienced nominee to ever run for President. Apparently they believe that he would match up well with the history making, Democrat controlled Congress. History making because it's the least accomplished and most unpopular Congress in our nation's history.
Former senator Fred Thompson

Winter is in the air, and it is beginning to look alot like Christmas in East Tennessee. The Tennessee Vols had a very good football season this year. That always makes me very happy. I have to admit, I didn't think the Republican's would lose control of the senate this fall. If you look at the new house and senate members elected in November, you will have to agree that most look very much like republicans. It is going to be very interesting to see how well they get along with the incoming Speaker of the House. For Example, Heath Shuler who was elected from the 11th district of North Carolina. Heath is nothing more than a republican running as a democrat. Heath Shuler who was and is one of my all time favorite quarterbacks from the University of Tennessee (and whose autograph still hangs on my wall next to Peyton Manning's) is a very conservative democrats. Heath Shuler is only one of a very few democrats that I would have cast a vote for. He has a very strong faith in God, with very conservative views. It is going to be very interesting to see how he and others get along with the liberal leadership. We all can agree that the ear of lies have began. In the summer and fall, the Democrats big theme was, "we are going to enact every that was recommends from the 9/11 commission. NOW we see that is and was not true.
